The brand focuses on designing and producing unique genderless fashion items, creating bold, exciting club wear, streetwear and bespoke pieces. The spirit of My Lil Petey has a sense of anarchy, celebrating the weird, embracing creativity and revelling in uniqueness.
It originated out of a need to create. As a child Peter Marsh suffered a stroke and brain haemorrhage which caused him to loose the use of his dominant hand and had to train himself to create art using his left hand. Despite this he graduated Leeds College of Art with a BA in Fashion at the age of 21.
From a working class background, in an age of unpaid internships, temporary employment- frustrated, without many resources or opportunities nevertheless talented, determined and a little delusional, with a point of view as an artist and designer, Peter Marsh created his own world “My Lil Petey” where he can be whatever he like and can do whatever ever he wants.
My Lil Petey showcased the first collection in Milan at 5WAYs pop-up store in September 2020, as part of Milan’s Fashion Week.
